Pregnacare post arrival of newborn - Vegetarian - Advice needed!

Hi all

My bundle of joy arrived last Friday:) whilst pregnant I took pregnacare tablets - both pre conception and then the conception ones.

Now I have given birth and have started breastfeeding I can't take the pregnacare breastfeeding ones as they have fish oil in them and I am vegetarian - any advice on what to take? Old posts suggested sticking to the original pregnacare tablets and I guess I can supplement them with vegetarian omega 3 capsules?

Any advice much appreciated xx

Congrats on the birth of your baby! When my first was born I just carried on with the rest of my stash of Pregnacare, mostly just to use it up. Once it was gone I didn't switch to a different multivitamin, although I did periodically take iron, and later calcium/vitamin D. I didn't specifically hunt out Omega 3 - is that particularly advised?

Also a veggie of 20 years.

That's good to know - regarding the omega 3 not sure what the official advice is on it. I just thought of it as some pregnancy tablets mentioned omega 3 in them and I was aware the ones I was taking didn't have them in
