Can anyone recommend a private scanning clinic in Chelmsford?

Thinking about booking one when I'm about 7.5 weeks as had a missed miscarriage last time and everything stopped at 6. There seem to be quite a few clinics so not sure which to go with - Baby Bond seems to have some quite negative reviews.
My main concern - although I feel much more positive about this pregnancy - is if the news is bad, having it dealt with sensitively - I've seen a few reviews of places that were quite business like and brutal! So figured if people have had a positive experience somewhere and wouldn't mind sharing, that would be really useful.
Thanks!

I'm really sorry to hear of your miscarriage.

I went to one with a friend off of Waterhouse Lane and it was great. It was called 'The Baby Scan Studio'.

Thank you @MacTweedy glad to hear you had a good experience, I guess I'm just a bit nervous as haven't been to a private clinic before and know they can vary. I will look them up :)

I think My Ultra Baby have one there.

Yeah , I've just checked and they do.

They are rather quick and business-like but I found that reassuring as the sonographer located my 8 week embryo instantly and played us his heartbeat.

Thank you! Hopefully they wouldn't be brisk and business like if the scan didn't go so well, but I guess you get that risk anywhere, even at the EPAU

I completely understand your concerns OP but I guess my take on it was that there's never a good time or place to receive less than good news.

I'd probably feel concerned about going for an anomaly scan at one of these clinics though as a later loss involves much more medical management and decision making. That's not to say an early loss is any less painful though.

Anyway! Good luck with your early scan and congratulations on your pregnancy :-)

Very good points @ChickenBhuna - good to see other perspectives. Think I will just bite the bullet, decide on somewhere and go for it. Thank you :)
