Morning all, just looking for someone to talk me down really! Long story short - 19+1 with dc2, pregnancy with ds1 was low risk but really struggled with anxiety as had fallen pregnant straight after a miscarriage.
This pregnancy has been much smoother anxiety wise so far. Started feeling baby a couple of weeks ago but very low down and quite faintly. In my second day of not feeling a thing today, I've convinced myself my son was moving more regularly at this stage (he probably wasn't) and I know not to really worry too much about movements before 24 weeks but the anxious bit of my brain won't listen! Scan is next week so starting to probably feel nervous about that. Can someone give me a (gentle) kick up the bum?

Hi @Nousername2015

At 19 weeks it really is a bit early to be feeling regular movements. I didn't feel any movements until 18 weeks (first pregnancy and baby). Maybe felt a little before but wasn't sure if it was or not only at 18 weeks I realised. And even then I didn't feel it much!

You have your scan next week so I really wouldn't worry! Sometimes it's the way the baby is laying etc. My son went back to back around 20 weeks so I felt everything! Occasionally he would turn and I would panic because I couldn't feel him. Even at 30+ weeks I panicked but after being assessed everything was fine and it was just his position.

Try to relax but keep yourself busy. Don't be googling anything because it really doesn't help! All the best. Let us know how your scan goes next week Flowers

I'm 19 weeks (tomorrow) with my 3rd and not really feeling regular movements some times not for days so really really wouldn't worry about it pleanty of people haven't really felt anything by this point so try not to worry. Easier said than done.
