Do you get a letter confirming maternity pay etc? I sent form 10 weeks ago and not heard anything, not too sure what happens?

Probably depends on your workplace. We get statutory at my work and I had to put it in writing to our CEO that I was pregnant and when I wanted to take my maternity leave. She wrote back that same day. It's a very small local charity I work for though so YMMV. Think you should have heard something by now, I would look into it.

I work for small company too, I put in writing along with the form and got response and healthy &safety form to sign. Wasn't too sure if there would be anything else to do. Thanks

They should tell you within 28 days of receiving your notice and proof of pregnancy.

Time to give them a nudge!

Yeah I just got an acknowledgment letter and that was it. Don't think there is anything else to do? Hope not anyway!

Mine acknowledged receipt of the MAT1B form and said they would write to me within 28 days. Which they did. I get additional contractual pay so they laid out my dates, pay etc.

I'd definitely chase them.

Was it your work who acknowledged Mat1b? Sorry for all the questions, my boss wasn't in today to ask. Finishing up soon, just want to make sure everything good to go 😁

Yes, it's your employer who should acknowledge and confirm.

Yes. My HR team at work acknowledged reciept of the MATB1 form and then wrote to me within 28 days to confirm maternity pay
