Miscarriage

Hi all, I think I'm having a miscarriage as have been bleeding since last Saturday, it started off with just spotting and brown but is now heavier and red. The only thing is that I am not experiencing any real pain just occasional period like painwhich I thought would be the case. The oncall midwife has left a message with EPU for me to get a scan this week but it's not looking good is it? Sorry it's my first pregnancy and feeling so lost.

I can't really offer any advice as both my MC were discovered at scans and I didn't have bleeding but didn't want to leave you unanswered.

Maybe try ringing EPU tomorrow morning to see if they can see you any sooner?

Thank you Echoes of Leon, yes I should probably call them rather than doing more waiting. I just need to know for sure either way.

Sorry you're going through this. Definitely call your local EPU, if they take self referrals then you will be able to go straight down and wait to be seen rather than waiting for a pre booked appointment.

From past experience with my local EPU the earlier in the day you go in the less time you'll have to wait so call them nice and early.

So sorry, but good you got a scan tomorrow. I'd really recommend the miscarriage board on here, lots of people who know what you are going through and are really helpful and supportive. Hope that it's not bad news tomorrow. x
