Hi, I was recently diagnosed at 25 weeks with pneumonia and put on a weeks dose of Clarithromycin. I have read that it is a Class C drug and there are some risks to baby although none fully confirmed. I took the medicine as I fully understand that the risks outweighed the benefits. However I am now worried about any damage to baby. I also lost 1.5 stone whilst ill and cannot now put it back on.
When I speak to the Dr they just say I had to take it due to my health. But I dont know anyone who has taken this before and if things turned out ok? I am wondering if anyone has been in a similar position and can offer any insights?
