Hi everyone

I am currently 35 wks pregnant. Over the last 2/3 days my ankles/feet and hands have started swelling. My feet are like that all the time now doesnt matter if i sit down or not (that is quite hard with a 4 yr old & 1 yr old to run about after!)

Also i am being sick about 4 times a day and that is with sickness tablets. Had a few dizzy spells over the last week or 2 aswell and my legs and tummy are being very very itchy.

I have gestational diabetes and also group b strep.

Just wondering anyone else feeling or felt like this

Xx

I think if you're very dizzy that can be a symptom of obstetric cholestatis (sp?) which is v dangerous.

Can you ring your midwife or labour ward for advice?

None of that is normal. You need to ring your midwife.

Im thinking i might ring maternity assessment just don't want to be there for hours and hours however don't want to put my newborn in danger. Itching is legs and back etc and comes on mostly at night.

Left it last night cos I know nights in mat assesment is a nightmare!! Up at hospital just now getting bloods done and on monitor. Feel very short of breath now aswell ☹️ little ones heart rate going between 140-180 so hopefully that isnt too fast! I cant really feel movement but monitor seems to be tracking it but will be here a few hours. Only another 3 wks and 5 days till my section so count down is on lol x

The itching can be obstetric cholestasis and should be checked.

The dizziness could be all sorts of things. It's best that you're getting checked -- good luck.

1st set of bloods are clear so sent home with cream and tablets for itch and said if anything shows on other bloods they will phone me. Just hope these tablets and cream work cos itch is driving me insane
