It's two days before my baby shower and the person planning it text me today saying to skint to get the bits needed.... they have had 3 months in which they said could they plan it all :( can't help but feel really upset and let down by it I've been buying stuff anyway banners etc but there a lot of people and family coming why not tell me this a while ago even when others have offers to help but been denied too xx
Don't know why I'm posting I'm just really sad about it

No I bought banners and balloons they where planning the games and getting the food to which none is done and it's this weekend

I'm sorry you've been let down, it must feel really stressful for you. Did the person let on to you that they didn't have the funds? I imagine they feel just as bad as you, and didn't want to disappoint you.

But the baby shower doesn't have to be expensive, just some tea and cake would be lovely. Have you got a friend or relative who could help you organise a few games?

Surely all you really need is yourself, soft drinks and cake?
