I have had no flutters and there is no sign of a bump at nearly 17 weeks. I don't like to compare myself to other women, but I'm beginning to feel nervous.

Hey, I didn't feel anything really until 19 weeks and I didn't have a bump until 20 weeks plus. Don't stress yourself out! If your really worried call your midwife but I think you're fine xx

I didn't feel any flutters until 19 weeks and was still in my pre pregnancy jeans until 20 weeks so don't worry. Some women don't show much with a first pregnancy and some carry small; I had almost an overnight growth spurt where I suddenly had a bump.

RoganJosh · 20/07/2017 21:37

I remember waiting for my 20 week scan with no bump, having had no movements and not put in any weight. It was all fine.

honeysucklejasmine · 20/07/2017 21:39

Assuming it's your first pregnancy, it's normal. Especially if you have an anterior placenta and strong abdominal muscles.

GottaLoveIceCream · 20/07/2017 21:43

Almost 22 weeks here, 2nd pregnancy so know what to look out for and still no movement feelings. I booked an extra appointment with midwife as I was worried and she found heartbeat but won't send me for a scan due to lack of movement. I had a private scan today and baby is moving about just fine. In fact I think I actually felt something when the lady was scanning me, typical Grin

I know it's hard but try not to worry too much yet Flowers

mrsbumblebees · 20/07/2017 21:47

Please don't worry, honestly that is not unusual at all! I know a lot of people don't feel movement until well past 20 weeks. My bump was also completely non-exsitent at 20 week scan and even now at 27 weeks it is still pretty small! I was starting to get worried when comparing to other ladies bumps at the same stage but baby is measuring just fine on scans, they think my bump size is just small because of the baby's position (And my apparently spacious pelvis!)

inspiredbutohsotired · 20/07/2017 22:09

I'm 38+2 now and everything is how it should be - I didn't get any kicks or feelings til 20 weeks and no visible bump til about 24 weeks. X

bittyboo · 20/07/2017 22:28

I'm 23 weeks and have only just started to feel the odd movement now yet baby was so active at my scan that they could hardly take any measurements. My placenta is anterior and that's why.

ScotsLamb · 20/07/2017 22:54

I'm 17 weeks too. I have a rounded tummy but wouldn't call it a bump. I'm still in pre pregnancy clothes.
No movements either.
I'm desperate for bumps nd kicks but know from others that after about 4 weeks of it I may just get annoyed at sleep issues due to both of these things!
Hang in there. They will come. At least I hope they will for both of us.

forfucksakejanet · 20/07/2017 22:59

36 weeks here and my bump is enormous! Make the most of being able to reach your toes. And get up without grunting.

Sounds perfectly normal, enjoy your pregnancy Flowers

Monkeypuzzle32 · 20/07/2017 22:59

I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and was saying I hadn't felt anything yet but tonight I shone my phone torch on my stomach and I felt a butterfly sensation as I think the baby moved away from the light! I do have a rounded stomach but I just look fat at the moment-it gets bigger at night though

I'm also 17+3 weeks pregnant with
my first and I'm not showing at all either and am still my pre pregnancy weight.. I have been feeling some flutters but I can't tell if it's just wind so I know how you're feeling it's nerve wracking and I've been wondering if the baby is even still in there with no bump or symptoms but I have got a home doppler which helps to reassure me, it cost me £20, it makes me feel better when I'm feeling anxious.

MySecretToTell · 23/07/2017 16:14

Don't want you to worry Ttc321 but please** be really careful with the home doppler, the charity Count the Kicks are petitioning to Downing Street to get them banned/for it to be illegal to sell them. If you google 'home doppler' and click on the news items it was only within the past month that the issue was in the news.

MySecretToTell · 23/07/2017 16:16

Oops, I don't know where the ** came from in my post
