Hi,

i am not sure if I am panicking for no reason. My little boy is normally very very active in the mornings and I have just realised he has not even made a slight move at all since I got up 3 hours ago.

I normally feel him being very active in the mornings before I come to work and also whilst I am at work.

I have had a full fat coke and a reasonable amount of chocolate too and both normally make him go wild, he has not moved at either!

I had a midwife appointment yesterday and doppler etc was all fine so not sure if maybe I am just panicking like a mad woman!

Do I need to be panicking? or am I just being a bit mad? I just feel so guilty that I did not realise he had not moved at all this morning until now!

Any change in movement I would phone midwife for advice
You know what's normal for you and you're saying it's not normal

Sorry that was a bit stark, don't panic! But I would phone midwife.

I had reduced movement twice in my pregnancy, both times phoned midwife and was asked to come in to be checked out. Of course the minute I got on to monitor baby woke up!
