I'm being induced due to medical reasons however, the consultant has said that they will first give me a membrane sweep at 38 weeks and then also give me a date for induction. This is my second child and I've never had a sweep before! They skipped right to the induction at 38 weeks last time because my cervix was very unfavourable.
Anyone ever had a successful sweep at 38 weeks!? And is there anything I can do to maximise the chances of it working?
