How did your GD manifest itself?

Im 28 weeks, fat anyway and absolutely knackered. Still working 17 hours a week and looking after ds 1 the rest of the time but I'm so tired. Wondering if its GD as immediately after I eat I feel better. No thirst or extra urinating going on. Please tell me what happened before your GD was diagnosed.

I had absolutely no symptoms! I was very surprised when I got the diagnosis. Have you got a blood test booked?

Yes for next Thursday but seeing the MW tomorrow might ask her to do my BM just incase. Maybe I am just knackered.

I had no symptoms either. Only got tested as my previous baby was over 10lbs!

I have had GD in all 3 pregnancies and no symptoms at all. 1st pregnancy wasnt diagnosed till 32 wks. 2nd and 3rd was diagnosed between 14/16 wks due to previously having it so they test very early. No symptoms at all.

A scan showed that during measurements that my baby's tummy was big so that is a sign of gdd. So I got tested. Baby is now 2 yo and does have a big tummy but that is because she eats well.
