Private maternity care in Manchester?

Does anyone know of anywhere in Manchester were they offer maternity care privately? I have no idea where to look. I am not originally from the UK and to be honest haven't had much to do with the health care system here at all other than the odd GP appointment.

I'm 11 weeks and have struggled to get care so far. I have now been referred to a NHS hospital for my booking in appointment and have received a text saying I have an appointment next Thursday, but no mention of what time. No letter, and I cannot reach the antenatal clinic on the phone, they never answer! I am not overly precious but am starting to stress a little bit now. Still don't know anything at all about a scan.

Does anyone have any experiences they could share with me? Just wonder what my options are!

I'm in Manchester as well and not from the UK and also didn't have much NHS experience before.
For my booking appointment I received a letter where I could phone a number and they gave me a time and number to call the hospital to make an appointment. After this it all went smoothly so far. Had a bit problems to get a midwife for the 16 week appointment, but that's all.
Don't have any experience with private care, sorry.
Where abouts in Manc are you?

Hi Peachi82. I'm in the city centre. I'm assuming I may still receive a letter that says what time my appointment is but I just don't feel particularly reassured that the antenatal clinic don't answer the phone at all (I've rung 12 times at different times of day). I know it's not the end of the world but it's just been such a rough process so far that I'm not particularly impressed with any of it. (Lots of confusion at GPs, kept being given wrong numbers, wrong information, wouldn't refer me to midwife until 10 weeks & then midwife was like 'oh you're late!' Hmm)

It doesn't help that my mum is constantly asking me when appointments are and very 'oh, they do it that way over there?' about everything!

Oh, so sorry, it's confusing... I got referred to Wythenshawe hospital because we live in South Manchester.
I'm sure you will receive a letter!
Yeah, for my friends from home I am having kind of a cowboy like antenatal care, because by the time I had my first appointment they already saw their gynaecologist like 5 times - haha. It is different here, but not worse... The first 12 weeks are really mind boggling though.
