Is this a chemical pregnancy?

A week after my missed period, I had 2 days of moderate bleeding. Then, after 3 days I had brown and pink discharge on and off for about a week. I should be at 8 weeks 3 days right now. All my positive tests are super faint, slightly and slowly getting a wee bit darker. I'm getting more symptoms progressively, but the bleeding and faint positives are worrying me. Any experiences or advice? Could this be a chemical?

Could be. But could be something else. No one on an internet forum can answer that. Best to ask your doctor, no?

Of course I know asking a doc is best, but I can't get in for another 2 weeks. I asked for experiences because at 8 weeks if it was chemical I shouldn't still get a positive. I thought maybe someone would know more about it.

I'm no expert but I've had two chemical pregnancies around 5-6 weeks and both times I started bleeding I was getting negative tests back.

So it could be a CP but also possibly could be you're not as far along as you think, and some women do get early bleeding.

Probably best to get in as soon as you can to see a Dr or maybe EPU if that's an option for you to have an early scan. All the best.

I have also had 3 chemicals and tests were negative very quickly. If I hadn't tested (I only did because I can feel I'm pregnant almost instantly!) I would have just thought I had had a late period.
