Sooo long story exactly a week tomorrow ago I took a test just a cheap strip one, very faint positive came up right away, took another right after was negative. Been taking them all week had another 3 very faint positives but all the rest are negative I'm not due my period until Sunday I'm just complete confused and need to know if anyone else has had this thanks

This hasn't happened to me but I would wait till your period is due & take another one, a positive is normally right, but some test can't pick up on the hormones early, try the clear blue one that you can take 6 days before a missed period or a first response x

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 11:42

They're very faint but there what do yo think x

Go and get a first response. I can definitely see a line on the bottom test though. Good luck

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 12:03

Do u think it is evap? Thanks

It is very faint, Id get a first response or clear blue, but only the one that says you can test 6 days early, as others won't pick up the small amount of hormones think the clear blue one is only £8.50 in Asda haven't seen them anywhere else x

PoppinsMoppins · 14/07/2017 13:04

Probably not if they came up straight away. It is still early so would expect very faint lines.

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 13:10

I just took a digital clearblues and says Not pregnant so confused

FirstTimer07 · 14/07/2017 13:29

Clear blue are none for picking up positive lates. I had exactly those faints and am now 9 weeks! I went and got a first response and it came up with clear positive! Good luck hun

PoppinsMoppins · 14/07/2017 13:29

I am 10 weeks pg and had faint positives on internet cheapies, but not pg on a digital until 12/13dpo. What dpo are you? Digis are apparrantly less sensitive.

FirstTimer07 · 14/07/2017 13:29

*known

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 13:37

What does dpo mean? I might see if my partner can get me a first response or the they kind of clearblues

OP posts:
PoppinsMoppins · 14/07/2017 13:49

DPO= days past ovulation

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 13:51

Oh I don't know but last period was 18th June

user1499085914 · 14/07/2017 14:24

I'd say get a first response, for a pack of 2 it's only £10.50 in Superdrug x

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 14:37

Hopefully my partner can pick me one up after work xx

First response is negative no idea what's going on 😞

I have had very bad results with those cheapies- evap lines when I wasn't pregnant, negatives when i actually was.
I'd say nothing can be relied upon until your period is late (sorry, I know the wait is a killer, I waited 4 years for my bfp and thought it might be the month every time).
Good luck OP, and make sure you test with your first wee of the day if you're not already...

Tasha92 · 14/07/2017 19:46

I've kept the other first response to take with first pee if that's a negative then that'll be that thanks

Wait 48 hours before testing again. The more you test, the more you're peeing out the HCG so even if you are pregnant you're making it more likely to get a negative.

Wait 2 days and take a test with your first morning pee. I wouldn't recommend clear blue as they're generally not as sensitive this early

Tasha92 · 15/07/2017 09:33

Negative again this morning just going to wait & see if my period comes now which is due tomorrow.

Lots of women don't get positives until they're overdue. You're testing too early which only ever causes heartbreak. Believe me, I did the same thing cycle after cycle! It's so much better to wait - avoids all this uncertainty and anxiety. Good luck.

Tasha92 · 17/07/2017 07:48

So just thought I'd update you's, period was due yday had nothing yet, no cramps or any sign of coming on soon, my head is mash 😞
