I am 37 weeks pregnant with my second. With my first I had a retained placenta and after a lot of painful tugging they decided I needed to go to theatre for a spinal tap and a manual removal which wasn't so bad. I was just happy to finally see my baby. I had to stay in hospital for 4 days after it, I'm just wondering if that is a standard stay after a manual removal? It's just I found it really hard bonding with him in a hospital environment, and would love to get home maybe the day after or so?
