Morning all,

I've just got a BFP this morning, first proper cycle since mc back in May. I'm scared to death.

Sorry for your loss
I got pg totally by accident just 1 week after surgical removal of a mmc.
My period hadn't returned by then
I was also terrified and had a difficult time mentally but the baby was perfectly healthy and is now an awesome 12 year old, I also have an equally awesome 8 year old!!!
Good luck and try to enjoy it ( hard I know) x

I'm 19 weeks pregnant, I had a mmc last year. The odds are on your side, you have a very good chance of this pregnancy being successful. I was an anxious mess in the first in the first trimester but booked myself 2 early scans at 7 weeks and 10 weeks to make sure all was ok and it really helped me.

I still worry but I think that's normal for everyone. The antenatal clubs section here is really good, lots of other women will be in the same boat as you and it helps to chat.

Congrats and good luck.

Congratulations Flowers

I had the same happen to me, and had a healthy baby following a miscarriage at 8 weeks. It's natural to worry and I was a nervous wreck until the 12 week scan, but I was reassured by my midwife that many women who have miscarriages go on to have a healthy baby. All the best with your pregnancy.

Thank you all. It just feels really surreal, it should be a happy occasion but I'm so worried that is' not going to stick. I'm not getting my hopes up, because they I won't be disappointed right?

So many lovely stories. Unfortunately I don't think mine will end that way - BFN this morning with a FRER.

Sorry, it's a first response early result. AF is due on tomorrow.

I hope you're right annutteridiot; my boobs are really painful today and I'm so much more tired than usual. Plus I don't feel like AF is coming, and I can usually tell the day before. clutches at straws

Good luck. It could be that your urine with the bfp was more concentrated yesterday.

Things like drinking more or peeing in the night can make all the difference detecting a bfp at this stage.
Same thing happened to me and she is my 3 weeks old.

I'd too also had a miscarriage prior to the bfp which makes you more stressed.

soupmaker · 14/07/2017 10:24

Good luck mammabear. I had 2 mc before falling pregnant with DD2. I had a fabulous time being pregnant with DD1 but was an anxious wreck with DD2 until about 20 weeks. It's normal to be worried and anxious after a mc. Hope you get your positive result.

2 negatives this morning. Back to the conception boards I go.
