Symptoms easing off?

I feel like a dick for complaining about this. I am 11 weeks pregnant with dc2 and for the past few days I've felt great.

I can cook and eat normal food without gagging and I have tonnes of energy. I've been feeling really sick and tired for weeks before this.

With my dd, I clearly remember feeling diabolical until at least 14 weeks.

I'm a teeny bit concerned. I had some light (red) bleeding a few weeks ago, but nothing since then. I mentioned the bleeding to mw at booking in appointment and she didn't think it was anything to worry about. I had similar bleeding with DD at 10 weeks and all was well.

It is our first scan next week, so at least I don't have too long to wait to see if everything is ok.

I wonder if anyone else has had symptoms ease off at this stage?

Fwiw I do still have quite sore boobs when I take off my bra at night.

I have done a post about the exact same thing! But I'm only 9ish weeks! Weekend was awful but the past few days I have felt great :/ who'd ever thought we would complain about feeling good!!!

Seems a little ridiculous, doesn't it Grin?

I'm sure it's fine.

9 weeks might make sense; I'm sure I've read that your HCG levels drop at 9 weeks as the placenta takes over around then? I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I am can confirm that though.

I remember thinking this and then a few days later my symptoms would be back with a vengeance! Things change as a pregnancy progresses, I would try not to worry and read too much into it. Easier said than done I know!

Thanks. I know there is no use in worrying. I vowed I would try to be more relaxed this time, but still occasionally end up googling everything!

I felt loads better at 9 weeks and am now 17 weeks and all is fine. I was worried but now obviously consider myself very lucky!!Smile

My symptoms completely went at 8 weeks and I had a complete melt down! Booked a private scan and all was completely fine and then again at my 12 week scan too! I just kept trying to tell myself that every woman's pregnancy is different and symptoms come and go! I've started feeling a bit queasy again now but I'm sure this will pass!

Try to stay positive!!
