Starting IVF process.... 40

Hi, my partner and I have been ttc for a long time and decided to go IVF route. Due to start IVF process on my next cycle which is meant to be today. I've got period pain cramps that have been going on for about 3 days but nothing happening and sitting at my desk starting to panic about everything. I did a pregnancy test this morning but it was negative. Anyone else had this?

Yes!! I was having period like cramps at the weekend, went to the loo and had what I thought was the start of my period, but was like a brown discharge - sometimes I get this at the start as I am so irregular. Felt throughly fed up as like you, also 40, and been trying ttc for over a year now. Since then, nothing.... I've also been getting foot and calf cramp and have broken out in spots and am wondering ..... could I?!

Thanks Shortcake! Its a mind field! I've been reading how you can feel you are getting you period but it actually is a sign of pregnancy. I should have an answer today or tomorrow.... hopefully. But no discharge for me and breasts feel normal. I need to be patient I suppose, but not looking forward to IVF... Good luck to you!
