I've had a crazy few weeks at work, travelling, long hours etc.

Just realised that my period is late - for full disclosure I had a big birthday recently and drank an immoderate amount and think (but can't remember properly Blush) being a bit careless with contraception (DH was the worse for wear too) that was 11 days ago and my period is 4 days late

Tell me I can't be pregnant as am freaking out a bit.....

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

So you were careless a week before your period? V v unlikely to be pregnant from that. Wrong timing.

owltrousers · 12/07/2017 09:07

Sorry but, you totally could be! Only way to be sure is to take a test.

NC4now · 12/07/2017 09:09

Unlikely but do a test. I always think it's better worrying about what you do know than what you don't.

GiGiraffe · 12/07/2017 09:12

Completely agree I just need to take a test but currently in a conference room in another country freaking out instead of participating in the training I am supposed to be observing.....

Thank you for those who said that it's the wrong timing - I'm telling myself that as a mantra - arghhhhh

Help - still no sign of period, am usually regular as clockwork 29 days - am 8 days late but still negative tests.

If I am still getting negatives I can't be pregnant can I?

With my previous 2, I didnt know when I was testing as DD1 I came off the pill and got pregnant straight away and DD2 I hadn't had my period back from DD1 but I was actively trying, so was testing anyway, IYSWIM

If you've had a crazy few weeks you might just be a little stressed out. That can have an effect on AF. You've tested a few times by the look of it and they say negative. Try and relax and if AF still doesn't show up speak to your gp for advice. X

Thanks 1stx. It's just never happened before and although things have been busy, I work in a high stress environment anyway - will take your advice and if no sign by wed will see the GP
