Booking apt

When do u get your midwife booking apt. I'm 7 weeks today. 1st scan Thursday x

It varies a lot by area I think in my NHS trust (in London) it is normally around week 9 - 10.

Have you self referred to the hospital, or seen your GP (depending on your local protocol)? If you aren't sure what to do,, ring your GP reception and ask.

Round it's self refer at 5 weeks, booking at 8, scan at 12. But it does vary.

8 weeks here and scan at 12 weeks.

8 weeks here too, though got mine tomorrow at 7+5 as 9 according to last period. Scan date to follow but had an early private one to reassure myself.

Hiya. I saw the gp last Monday which would of been at around 5/6 weeks. I was under fertility so I have a scan tomorrow at 7.2 due to pains. But heard nothing from midwife of doc surgery where they r based. So may ring them in a bit and just query it. Xx with my DS my surgery were absolutely useless beyond belief. Never saw the same midwife twice wither. That was 11 yrs ago so hopefully they r better now. X
