Can you tell the sex from a profile view in scan?

I had my 20 week scan today and we wanted to have a surprise but I thought I may have seen I willy right at the end when the sonographer was getting a picture of the baby. The baby was side on at the time and as the sonographer moved the probe around to get a good angle I kept thinking I could see something sticking up behind the leg as the leg when in and out of view. This was side on all the time though and not the standard between the legs shot that reveals all!

Have a ruined the surprise??

People always mistake part of the cord for a willy.

In my 20 week scan before they revealed the sex, the sonographer took the leg measurements and showed us the two legs and the middle and I was certain I saw a willy, but she later showed it again and explained what it all was and that sometimes it swells. It was a girl

Hmmm I wonder what it was I saw. I'm convinced it was boy bits!
