Hi,
I found out I was pregnant the 5th of Jun started bleeding on the 16th had a scan on the 20th which showed my womb empty, a test done at the hospital showed faint positive and a blood test showed hcg levels at 47 then had dropped to 21 by the Thursday. The person who called with my blood results confirmed I'd had a "failed pregnancy" and asked me to do a test 2 weeks later, so it's 2 weeks and 5 days later and due to forgetting about doing another test iv just down one now and it's showing a faint positive !!
So would you say this is a new pregnancy or should I call hospital incase it's still showing from our baba we didn't get ??

So sorry to hear about your loss OP. When I had a mmc at 12wks back in December, I miscarried on 5th Dec and pregnancy tests were still showing a faint positive until 28th Dec, so over 3 weeks.

We were advised that although there was no medical reason to wait to ttc again after the mc, it was a good idea for peace of mind to wait until test showed negative and I'd had a period. I did also have a scan to check all was clear about 2wks after the mc.

If it's any help, I fell pregnant again 7wks after my mc and am now 23wks with dc2 (third pregnancy)

Look after yourself, try not to put too much pressure on yourself (easier said than done I know) and perhaps give yourself a few weeks to get a negative test before ttc again. Wishing you all the best Flowers

Thank you sorry for your loss aswell, although our little dot wasn't planned we have decided we would like to try but due to breastfeeding and the mini pill my last period was in 2014 before I had my youngest dd. So I'm unsure if I would be expecting a period anytime soon
