Going crazy!

I'm 9 weeks and driving myself absolutely mad! Symptoms seem to be up and down. Have stupidly read too much online about mmc. I've retested a couple of times and strong dark lines appear instantly whenever I test...is this a good sign HGC is increasing? Looking for anything to keep my mind at rest!!! Thank you!

@Binks15 Stop taking tests! You're definitely pregnant and thats all these tests can show you, the lines can vary in shade for many reasons and going by line thickness/ darkness is not an accurate way to reassure yourself.

Have you had a scan at all yet? perhaps consider an early reassurance scan to put your mind at ease and try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy :)

@owltrousers you're right I really should! I have read elsewhere that low levels of HGC can mean fainter lines and therefore darker lines appearing more quickly do indicate increasing levels! Who knows! I have an early scan booked it. Don't know why I'm sooooo paranoid and pessimistic! Thank you.

I did the same, booked an early private scan and actually seeing the heart beat made all the difference, hang on for the scan it does help.
