Freaking out a bit. Tell me if this is normal- 7 weeks

I'm nearly 7 weeks pregnant and have had slight brown/pink discharge twice this week. Both happened just before a bowel movement. Not accompanied by pain bit I have been getting slight dull aches every now and then. Has this happened to anyone else?

Get to your gp and tell them the symptoms x

Thanks James. I've done that but am looking for some reassurance or at least to know what to expect in the meantime

This happened in both my pregnancies, one at 7 and the other at 9 weeks. Both times I was seen at the epu and scanned. 2 healthy children here.

Call your gp (I presume you haven't been booked in with midwife yet? If you have, call them) and see what they suggest.

Hope everything is fine. I do think it's quite common.

The same thing happened to me at the start of my pregnancy, around the same time it has happened to you. I went to my GP, was referred for an early scan and everything was fine. The midwife said it was very common but it was the right thing to do to get it checked.
