First baby and not a clue what to expect. I'm 37 wks and, awkwardly, woke up feeling very damp to find this. No blood or anything and it seems clear and whitish to me, is it my mucus plug? Its definitely more than normal 'wetness'.

I think it is , but I am not specialist. I just watched lots of photos when recently had the same thing.

Mine was more like thicker than that and streaked with blood Envy but I know you can lose parts and then it comes back so it could be that.

Looks like part of the plug, but it is constantly shedding and forming again. Doesn't mean labour is imminent unfortunately. The 'bloody show' is more promising, and is an horrific huge bloody blob, or several. I had that and got all excited, still ended up having to be induced 2 weeks overdue though.

I would say yes that's part of it but I was losing amounts like that a couple of weeks before going into labour. The day before I started with contractions I lost a huge blob, almost the size of my palm, no bloody show though until contractions had started properly.

Thanks everyone! I don't feel any other sort of symptoms so it's probably just my body getting ready for it I guess. Hoping she decides to arrive sometime soon and not overdue as I'm feeling huge!

Looks like it could be part of it. I lost mine Xmas day and didn't have DS until the end of Jan , and even then he had to be evicted through the sunroof!
