Hi everyone, I've just found out I'm 3-4 weeks pregnant and today I just have the feelings I get every month when I'm about to come on my period?? My back is hurting and I have a dull pain. I'm really worried and want to know if anyone else has experienced this before or should I be worried? X

Hi, I was fine up until about 4 weeks pregnant then got period cramps and cramps all over my belly really - This was with me first one. I panicked and went to the local early pregnancy unit and got scanned at 6 weeks - All was normal.
I'm 27 weeks with the next one and had all the cramps again up until about 9 weeks but now I just realise its what my body does in the early stages of pregnancy. I'm not sure they can see much on a scan at 4 weeks but I would go to your early pregnancy unit. Good Luck!

I git cramps in the first two months,I think it's all the stretching your uterus is doing. If it's just mild, take it as an excuse to put your feet up Smile

Your dates are from your last period. So if you're 4 weeks you're period is just due? You're not "late"?

Hi there, I am 34 weeks with my second at the ment and have period cramps right the way through. It really freaked me out at the beginning as I lost a baby about 3 months before this pregnancy and I did have lots of period cramping with that one too. My first son I had no cramps whatsoever. My advice would be get yourself to the docs, if you haven't already, they may do blood tests for you which should indicate if the hormone levels are sufficient to match how far along you are. All the best and try not to worry, it can be normal :)

I've had this paranoia the moment I saw the BFP. I've had some dull cramps and the other day my back did ache a little. I'm constantly checking. It's easier said than done but try to relax a little and distract yourself with something.

Period type cramps are normal at the beginning, it's the uterus stretching. In fact for me it's how I found out I was pregnant - felt as if period was coming but it never did! Smile Congratulations Flowers

Thanks for all your replies!
I'm checking at the toilet every 2 mins to see if I am having a period I'm so worried that I've had a chemical pregnancy? When I do a pregnancy test the line is very faint but when I do a clear blue it says 1-2 weeks pregnant I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens I know it's going to be feel like a life time Sad

I feel for you OP but try to remain positive. Have trust in your body, if it does end up being a chemical, it I simply your bodies way of detecting a baby that would likely have had serious genetic issues. All the best to you xx
