Hi everyone, I have recently found out I am pregnant and have been taking pregnacare. I have just had a look at the ingredients and noticed they contain glucose syrup! I try to eat a sugar free diet (other than natural sugars in fruit etc) so just wondering if anyone could recommend any kind of pregnancy vitamins that don't contain sugar? I don't understand why they need to have sugar in them! I think pregnacare tablets are causing my IBS to flare up a little too, although that could just be the pregnancy! Thank you! Smile

Only vitamin d and folic acid is recommended in pregnancy so maybe look for alternatives

I really struggled because most pregnancy vitamins made me vomit Sad

I used to take the seven seas trying for a baby one even when I was pregnant, not sure if they have any glucose in. You can get them individually though as pp said.

Thank you, I may just get folic acid and vitamin d from the supermarket instead then Smile

Was going to say the same as pp.

And don't bother buying the really pricey branded ones. The cheap ones are just as good.
