8 days late & negative test!

I'm 8days late & have had a negative test, is it possible I'm testing to soon? Could I be pregnant? I'm getting belly aches as if I'm on my period but nothing else has happened, is this normal?

Yes you could be pregnant. Or you might not be.

Sorry, not much use but only time will tell. I got my BFP 18 days after my period was due.

It's just I'm getting the belly pains but nothing's coming, I'm a lot more tired, drinking a lot more & everything, I'm not normally this late, just want to know, how long should I wait before doing another one?

which tests are you using? they measure different amounts of hormone.
are you testing first thing?

you could still be pregnant but like pp said you could just be late. i would test each day if you have the test and to hand - but you could also go to he doctor and see if they will do a blood test? (might have to wait another week tho)

I've used a cheap one from the pound shop& the digital clear blue one & I know I might just be late but I'm not normally this late,& it's just nice to know if you get what I mean & my doctors are useless it would be about 2-3 weeks before I get an appointment, is there any test that shows up earlier? From what I think if I was it would only be about 2 weeks?

did you test again op? you can get a first response test that can detect a smaller amount of hormone

I've done one today still negative but my belly has been hurting& still nothing I'm never this late, it's strange, I have been taking new diet pills dont know if they could affect anything

Perhaps - i don't know much about diet pills so can't advise - have you looked up whether there is a connection? Some women do have later positives but i would expect you to have had a positive test by now .... are you sure of you the period due date (not being patronising but i know some people have irregular cycles)

Well with my second I didn't find out till I was about 4-5 weeks pregnant, the test came up negative till then, & I'm never this late it's 10days today, my youngest is only 11 months, would I still be really fertile?

oh! Well in that case maybe all isn't lost if it took that long to get a positive before - maybe you'll just have to sit tight and keep testing? :-/ not ideal, I know

It's just annoying now, I just want know, as I've already got 2 babies under the age of 2
