I have recently found out I'm pregnant with my second child. Was a bit of a shock as I had a mirena in situ, and had a scan on the 12th June as strings couldn't be located. Scan said it was where it should be, so I stopped taking pill on this advice. I'm now pregnant, and believe I am about 5 weeks. Had a series of bloods as possibility of ectopic, with good rises on all 3. Having a scan on Friday to check location of pregnancy and I'm hoping to find coil. Will be my second child (first is 11 now!) and will be my partners first child. He is very excited, and I am quite scared about things. How will I cope with a near teenage son who has never wanted a brother or sister? My partner wants us to live together and we have only been together 9 months. I don't think my parents will be happy when I've told them, as timing isn't great and son will be starting high school this year so will be a lot of changes of him. New house, new school and a baby. Any advice?
