I'm sure this has been covered on here before but I can't find any recent threads so....
We had a scan last Friday at 36 weeks to check the position of the placenta as I had been told at the 20 week scan that it was low lying but in the majority of cases moves. Well mine has moved, but even lower so it is now complete praevia. Over the weekend, I got my head round having a section but we then went to the hospital on Monday to be told it's a section at 38 weeks and and a week in hospital prior for observation. I know this is being done for my safety but I've never had any bleeding. Feeling really uncertain about things at the moment, it didn't help that we never got to see the consultant on Monday, just a very rushed doctor. Has anyone got any info they can share? I've gone from being really excited to meet our baby to very anxious and apprehensive about the next couple of weeks...
