Anyone else 38 weeks or around?

I am 38 weeks today and so so fed up of being pregnant - don't get me wrong I know I'm lucky but I'm so uncomfortable

I've had HG for 23 weeks of the pregnancy and when that disappeared I have had terrible heartburn and acid reflux Sad

Just ready to meet little one, everything is ready just not her it would appear Grin

DS was born at 37+5 had my fingers crossed this one would be early but no sign yet although think I may of started to lose my mucus plug - fingers crossed not much longer

Being pregnant in this heat is horrible

I'm 40+4 and I've totally had enough!! All of my babies (4th) have been late so I shouldn't really be surprised but this pregnancy has been really tough and I'm fed up now.

I am immensely grateful that I'm able to have children, we suffered several losses over the years and took a couple of years to successfully conceive but I still feel fed up.

Get this baby out NOW lol

ColourfulOrangex · 05/07/2017 17:38

Oh no I really feel for you being late!

Hopefully little one will come soon

I'm 38+6 and ready now. DD1 was born at 38+4 so I feel a bit cheated that I'm still pregnant tbh even though I know there's no pattern for second babies being earlier!

ems137 · 05/07/2017 18:24

I know, these past few weeks are always the longest.

My first 2 babies were 14 days late 😫 and the 3rd was 3 days late.

My birthday is on 13th and they were wanting to induce me then

ColourfulOrangex · 05/07/2017 18:36

Midwife today said I am 2/5 palp which seems to mean baby is party engaged but apparently second babies are likely to engage and disengage so doesn't really mean anything I guess

Oh hopefully not much longer for us all, seems to go on for ages the last stretch

40+2. My first was 9 days late. Feel your pain!

Bryfry · 05/07/2017 19:18

I'm 39+2 and fed up too. First timer so expecting to go over but you never know!

notomatoes · 05/07/2017 19:23

37 weeks and really wondering whose stupid idea it was to be this pregnant in this heat. Also DS was very late so I'm expecting another 5 weeks of this...

khaleesitakesthethrone · 05/07/2017 19:25

I'm 39 weeks today. Feeling so ready to have this baby, but there are no signs of her showing an appearance just yet!

At least it has cooled down a bit now, I don't think could have taken much more of the heat x

ColourfulOrangex · 05/07/2017 20:11

The last 2 days here have been hot again :( in the south east

My son was a winter baby, much easier being pregnant in the winter

@ColourfulOrangex oh no! I am in north and it's been a lot cooler recently. Hope it cools down for you soon xxx

38 weeks today and doesn't feel like anything is going to happen soon..

m33r · 05/07/2017 22:16

I know I have a cheek here and obvs don't want to go before the 37 weeks but I am 35+2 and the thought of another 7 (or even 5!) weeks of this is unbearable to me. Didn't mind at all with DS1 (came 6 days early in the end) but this is driving me mad. I wish I had some idea.

I'm on raspberry leaf tea and bouncing on a ball permanantly. Any other old wives' tales that anyone knows? I will try anything! X

@m33r midwife told me the only thing that's proven to work is sex! If you can face it Wink
