Hi guys,

Just went to the toilet and when I wiped (sorry tmi) found a pinprick amount of blood in mucus. I haven't had this before. I had my 12 week scan on monday and the baby was fine, good size, heartbeat etc. Am I worrying over nothing?? Am just a bit scared as have heard so many sad stories recently.

xx

Not an expert, but i had this sort of thing in both my pregnancies, and they turned out fine.
If you're worried ring nhs direct maybe.

I had that with dd. I know its quite common. There's no way of knowing really if its good or bad sign. Please try not to worry.

Maybe a bit tmi but I used to get it morning after shagging. Whilst I reassured by mw that all was most likely well, I was advised to try and engage in more gentle lovemaking. Not that I'd considered it to be anything other than that!

I had this with ds,no problems at all.went on to have normal pregnancy.
I had been working really hard at the time so it may have been due to that, have you been over doing it?

Oh just to add I'd place far more emphasis at this stage of 12 week scan being OK. All the best x

I did at 14 weeks with ds1. It's feels alarming but probably just cervical erosion. If its only a tiny amount I wouldn't worry xx

I had this regularly with ds, now 22 months, and in this pg too, now nearly 15 weeks. All has been fine so far. (And I am ultra-cautious because I have also had 3 mcs).

thanks guys, will wait and see. Haven't really been overdoing it. Guess I will just have to hope.
