Only just pregnant but breasts producing milk

I noticed on Saturday that my boobs seemed to be leaking which freaked me out a little. I stopped breast feeding DD about 14 months ago. A quick google search said that sometimes you can still produce milk up to 2 years after stopping breast feeding. So I assumed it was that however DH thought I should do a pregnancy test - turns out I am pregnant (we have been trying). What's confusing me is that I'm only about 3 weeks, has anyone had breast leakage this early?

Hi gingernut massive congrats on your news. I don't have any experience as 39+5 with my first baby but if you're leaking this early on maybe book an appointment with the GP just to be on the safe side? X

I always had a tiny bit of milk right up until I got pregnant again when DS had turned 4 :S Then it just changed consistency- still there though!

This happened to me too! I'd stopped breastfeeding for almost 9 months and had no milk then all of a sudden a little leak when I would have been no more than a week or 2 pregnant.... Maybe it's a ginger thing (guessing from your name!)
