I was wondering if anyone had any advice or could offer some reassurance? I am 32 weeks pregnant and last week had a big bleed so ended up in hospital for a few days monitoring. The bleeding stopped and baby is moving loads. I got 2 steroid injections and they warned me that it could be a show and that the baby could come sooner rather than later. Since I got home on Saturday, I've had some cramping and light brown discharge. I'm feeling exhausted and heart seems to be racing all the time. I don't think it's just anxiety and I am already on meds for blood pressure and thyroid. I'm not anaemic and am not bed rest this week but my heart rate is still about 135 while resting.
This is my third baby and I've never gone into labour early. Both c-sections due to medical complications. I can't work out if the way I'm feeling is normal for 32 weeks (baby measuring a few weeks ahead-I have big babies!), or whether it's just the anxiety from the bleed that's making me feel like this. I really feel wretched though, exhausted, breathless and heart racing. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Thanks for reading!
