Hello! I live in Blackheath (SE3) and I'm 7 weeks pregnant. Would love to hear anyone's experiences of hospitals in the area. I'm trying to decide which one to give birth in but reading accounts of Lewisham and QE sound nightmarish. What other options are there? Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you!

I have friends who have had great experiences at Lewisham, and it's so close to you. Would definitely pick this over QE. Otherwise you could go for Kings or St Thomas's, both of which are excellent hospitals but are just a bit further from you. I'm sure there are people who have bad experiences everywhere though!

I was booked into the birth centre at Lewisham with DD1 in 2012. It was lovely and wish I could have enjoyed it more but ended up with an EMCS. The EMCS went really well, the surgeons, doctors and nurses were lovely to me and alleviated my fears. No issues for me there!
