When did you first start showing with #2

I'm 8+5 pregnant with #2. Feels like #1 as my DD is 15.

I've been hearing that women usually show sooner with their second pregnancies and when I've googled, gone on forums and looked on YouTube for accounts of women who are 8 weeks pregnant with their second babies they all seem to have small yet clearly visible bumps before 12 weeks.

I've put on quite a bit of weight since I had by DD. I'm not over weight but definitely packing a few fat rolls, particularly round my tummy area. I've tried feeling my tummy while laying down and I can't feel anything at all poking above my pubic bone.

It's making me worry a little as I haven't had my booking appointment yet, let alone my first scan. And this, along with the fact that I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms (aside from mildly sore boobs and positive pregnancy tests) is making me wonder if I am pregnant at all......

Are you pregnant with your 2nd and if so, when did you first begin to show?

I had loads of bloating between weeks 8 & 10, so much so I had to get my maternity jeans out of the loft, everything was so uncomfortable. I did have a flat stomach Ltd pregnancy so probably wasn't notable to anyone other than me. That went down & then I was back in normal clothes for a couple of weeks. My bump was visible in tight clothes from 16 weeks but even now at 21 weeks you can't see it in some clothes.

Everybody is different so I wouldn't worry that you're not showing yet, I wouldn't expect to be showing at 8 weeks. Lots of people have symptom free first trimesters & go on to have healthy babies. I know it's hard but try not to worry & think positive. Are you able to book in for a private scan earlier than 12 weeks to give you some reassurance?

Like pp I had bad bloating early on, never really started to show till after 20 weeks with 2nd.

16 weeks

Nobody is showing with an actual baby bump at 8 weeks, it's just bloat. I'm 20 weeks with dc2 and it's barely obvious now.
