I'm 4w5d and wondered if anyone else fancied joining me on the amazing journey to come?
First, second, third or fourth (or more!!) timers welcome!

This will be #1 after a long 18 months of miscarriages, infertility and heartache but i'm feeling super positive about this one and ready to enjoy the next few months!

P.s @favouritecake YES! in the evenings mostly. They seem to have died down a little now though....

Sorry to butt in, but Cake, could the headaches be dehydration because of the pregnancy sickness? Either because of actually being sick, or because of not drinking enough because of the nausea

KerryLeanne84 · 27/07/2017 10:19

Cake - headaches are definitely a pregnancy symptom I've read about lots of times. Drinking more could help I guess but I drink a lot and get them too :)

CL1982 · 27/07/2017 11:24

One little bean with a nice strong heartbeat and doing a lot of crunches. I have cried a lot and honestly feel blessed.

Doing crunches haha. Yay Claire!! That's great :)

1sttime84 · 27/07/2017 11:55

Awesome @cl1982 😊 How many weeks are you?

SS81C · 27/07/2017 11:58

Great news @CL1982 I'm so excited and nervous for my scan next week. DH can't come as it's the first shift of his new rotation and he's an hour's commute away now so might take a friend instead.

mummyGof2boys · 27/07/2017 12:00

@CL1982 that's amazing!!!! Wee baby ❤️❤️

Had to take ting back to get resized but because it was an M and my fingers are an H they have to order it in as it's too big to resize lol. Got to wait 5 weeks

Lauralou031986 · 27/07/2017 12:22

Great news @CL1982 Smile

CL1982 · 27/07/2017 12:34

Thank you so much everyone. The relief is incredible. Our NHS is an amazing thing.

@ss81c absolutely take someone. Having had a few scans now it's wonderful to have someone with you :)

@mummygof2boys Men are hopeless with ring sizing!! You must have teeny fingers! Well done him though.

@firsttime84 I'm 9 weeks tomorrow.

The NHS is incredible! And so worth protecting, especially at the moment :)

I agree with Claire, you must have teeny fingers Mummyof2! I'm a K and mine are pretty ickle.

mummyGof2boys · 27/07/2017 14:41

We are so incredibly lucky to have free healthcare at our finger tips. There are a lot of ungrateful people out there that slag it off but it's amazing.

Yeah he did say to the girl that I had really slim fingers and she said well I'm a J so if you get this size we can resize it not knowing that my fingers are much smaller 😂😂 bless him he is gutted I have to wait 5 weeks now. I'm just so happy he thought about getting me one.

How is everyone feeling today?

mummyGof2boys · 27/07/2017 14:43

On a pregnancy note, my pregnancy pillow and birthing ball arrived today. First pregnancy purchase 😊😊😊

KerryLeanne84 · 27/07/2017 14:56

Ooh that's exciting! What pillow did you go for? I've seen an amazing looking one but its like £170 Confused

I've got a yoga ball already that I have for 'exercise purposes' that should come in handy now :)

mummyGof2boys · 27/07/2017 15:02

@KerryLeanne84 i got this one. It is breathable, temperature controlling and can be used for back, leg and neck pain at the same time. Also for feeding afterwards. It was £26 on amazon.

I'm 7 weeks 1 day today. I have really sore boobs that have grown in size and apart from that I've had no other symptoms. I had severe pain in my abdomen last Monday and the hospital referred me to a scan. Had a scan and saw the little heart fluttering away. The little bean only measure 2mm.

I've booked a private scan for next Saturday because I'm anxious for the lack of sickness symptoms! Shouldn't I be sick now? The lady who scanned me last week said I was smaller than 6 weeks and possibly a week behind.

When did everyone get their sickness from?

Summerblush1982 · 27/07/2017 19:27

That's awesome CL1982
Really pleased for you!!! :-)

Tweetypie19 · 27/07/2017 19:33

Hi @summerblush1972,
I have had four babies previously and have never experienced sickness. Literally all I've had is sore boobies from around 6 weeks and plenty of acid reflux from 7 months onwards which always get progressively worse and magically disappears the second I've given birth. This is my 5th and my boobies are just starting to feel bruised and spiky. It can be really uncomfortable but always disappears around 12 weeks. Some ladies get no symptoms at all whereas some get it all!!! Xxx

Summerblush1982 · 27/07/2017 19:38

@Tweetypie19 thank you my love.
Strange how you look out for sickness to validate pregnancy. It's reassuring to hear your words. :-)

blueobsessive · 27/07/2017 20:07

@CL1982 fabulous news! I am so relieved. Glad win nugget has begun pilates:)

Glad you have got pregnancy bras. So much better aren't they. I must buy another one.

Entirely agree re the NHS. It is so valuable.

Hope everyone else doing ok.

I'm totally cream crackered.

CL1982 · 27/07/2017 20:56

May I ask-when would I need a pillow and what is it for please :)
