Hi ladies 😊

I need some advice please. I found out last mon that I was pregnant and I have now had my letter in for my booking appointment which is the end of July. Now I think I might be 5 weeks roughly but it really is a guess. My last period was the end of April but since coming off the pill I had been waiting quite a long time in between periods. Anyway I'm worried if I'm wrong about how many weeks I am and I'm further along that my booking appointment might be too late for some of the tests they need to do. What does everyone think? Should I just chill out?
Thanks in advance!

Thank you 😊 I have considered it but keep changing my mind as read so many differing opinions about them that I know longer know what my own opinion is haha.

Congrats and chill! If you're really worries, seek advice from your GP or midwife if you have one yet.

If last period was April then that would make booking appt 12 weeks- as you are dated from day of LMP.

I think you should ring up widwives- explain this and say you want your booking appt earlier.

My last period started on 30th April and at my scan on Saturday I was dated 7.5 weeks so I think you're a bit further on than you think! They date it from your last period! It's best to get booked in earlier so you can get a scan booked for 12 weeks also.
