Im getting really bad hip pain at night lying on my side. My mw recommended wearing a bump belt. Just most of them dont recommend night wear? I found a cantaloop one that says it should be ok. I just dont get how a bump belt can help hip pressure??

I had SPD whilst pregnant and wore the Serola belt during the day and used a pregnancy pillow during night time.

Also had physio which really helped.

Rolling over in bed was the most painful thing tho and that didn't really ease up till I had my baby.

I've replied this before on a similar thread, but sleep on top of a doubled over duvet. DH and I have now got two duvets under us and one on top! It is a bit ridiculous but my hip pain is gone. That or an expensive soft luxurious mattress topper - needs to be really soft.

Pillow or two between knees as well.

It's not fun - I feel for you! I'm 38 weeks now so the end is in sight!

See a physio and/or osteopath.
Pregnancy yoga can help too.
