This is my first pregnancy and I didn't feel any movements until I was 19+6. HTH.

With dd I felt her move at 14 and half weeks, pretty hefty kicks - she's now a very active toddler and never stops moving! As a baby she was always alert and loved to be on the go.

This pg I didn't feel anything until around 15/16 weeks and it was very slight movement, no real definate kicks until nearer 18 weeks. This baby just seems to be a quieter character and I'll be interested to see if this is reflected in how they are once they arrive.

I'm assuming this is your first pg, not uncommon to not feel anything until 20 odd weeks so nothing to worry about.

Hi I'm 19 weeks and felt slight flutterings from about 16 weeks. Wasn't sure if it was baby or wind at the time. Definitely know the difference now.

Yes this is my first pregnancy and i cant wait to feel something... it is reasurring to know it might not be until 19 weeks - is it true you are more likely to feel the baby move when you are realxing or still?

Yup, movement more noticeable when your relaxed/quiet but mainly I think coz you're concentrating more. A key time for me has always been last thing before sleeping, mainly because it's nice and peaceful, and somehow bump seems to know you're trying to rest so decides it's party time!

Im 19 + 2 and I think I felt my baby move last night!! I was lying in bed and felt what seemed like a bubble bursting! its the only way I can describe it. It happened twice and again this morn at work. was not wind as no sound after ;)
not sure if that was baby or not!!!

Emprexia · 24/03/2007 18:57

I started to get little bubbly sensations at about 19wks, and felt proper flutters and movements at 22 wks.

By 26wks he was kicking me to death, lol.

I'm also 16 weeks and haven't felt anything that I thought was the baby, only wind!

I felt ds at 18 weeks, dd at 15weeks and this one freaked me out as I though I could feel it at 11 weeks but then nothing. I was 19+2 with this my third before I could say yup that was baby.

It is true you are more likely to feel it when sitting quietly or laying down, after eating something sugary too.
