Being induced for spd

I got my induction date today for next week I'll be 38+2.... my consultant said it would be in a tablet form which happens every 6 hours I think (I didn't really understand any of it), has anyone else had this? I don't know what to expect I never had that last time!

Hi i am due to get induced on Friday and will be 40+2weeks and have suffered spd too. I feel ur pain. Was induced with my first DC but it was a pessery inserted internally and then monitored until went into labour. If hadnt gone into labour after 24hrs they would have done another one and sent me home to wait. Xx
