We found the 6 hour course really good. Both my and DH learnt a lot and it covered a lot of different things like signs of labour, how to get labour started including disposing of some myths, different pain relief, what will happen in the different stages of labour etc etc.

The 2 hour breastfeeding one was absolutely terrible!! Terrible speaker didn't help but I found it really lacked content and the stuff it did cover was already covered in notes/magazines given to my by the midwife. It didn't cover anything more than latching and positions really - so nothing about potential problems like engorgement or thrush.

Apparently the 6 hour course has a breastfeeding section to it - because we were already booked on to the breastfeeding course we were allowed to leave early and miss this part. I wish we'd stayed and cancelled the breastfeeding course instead. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!
