Hi all
Im expecting with no2 and due to complication with pre eclampsia and gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy, my GP referred me to the consultant straight away when i went to confirm my pregnancy, so I had my midwife booking appt today and will have my consultant appt next week. Ill be anywhere between 9.5-11.5 weeks (bit unsure on dates)

Anyway my Q is... Will my scan be next week when i go to see my consultant? Midwife said they might not scan me but seems odd that theyd send me to see a consultant and set up a plan without even knowing if the pregnancy is viable!?

I had a consultant appointment before my 12 week scan due to a previous section. It was just a chat about risks and birth choices and they didn't even mention a scan. we just talked about what care I would receive during the pregnancy and how often they'd need to see me. Nothing much happened but I knew in advance what was going to happen.
