I am 32+5 and baby has always been on the small side but yesterday a scan showed her growth has slowed even more. My previous baby was big and induced because of this so its abit of a shock! She's 3.5lbs currently. They said they will monitor me weekly for placenta blood flow and to check growth , if she falls behind anymore they will induce immediately however if she remains in the same centile then they will induce at 37 weeks. All makes sense to me! My worry is that I have had a few episodes of reduced movement and im petrified that the placenta is the problem, what if it just stops working? So paranoid this could happen and end in a still birth? Is it a gradual thing? Or could it happen quickly? Does anyone has experience of the same thing? Xx
