Is anyone else worried about cleaning products? I cleaned the loo with limescale remover and later after I went to the loo I felt slightly sore, there must have been some residue. In theory dp is supposed to be using all the harsh chemicals but things just dont get done!!

I tend to use Ecover products, they are definitely not filled with nasty chemicals (normal cleaners irritate my nose and throat, these don't). They clean just as well if you don't mind using a bit of elbow grease. I discovered an excellent limescale remover by Anthony Worrall Thompson (!) which is "green". It was effective on London limescale so it should work anywhere.

Thanks Naturelover. I am not too keen on elbow grease as a rule and love my domestos 100%, but I just keep imagining all these chemicals circulating round my blood and the baby's placenta so maybe I can make an exception for 3 or 4 months! Its got to be better than no cleaning at all if left to dp . Will google awt limescale remover, I cant believe he makes cleaning products how funny! I think I have a bit more nesting instinct this time round which is nice.
