I'm 40+3 today

I noticed yesterday my baby went quiet. Nothing would get her moving.
Went for monitoring and all looked fine on the trace. Although still not as active as usual.

I was badly sick out of the blue whilst there and since I got home from the hospital too. Can't eat, can barely hold water.

Still have decreased movements-is there a link between me having a stomach bug and the lack of movements?

I have a scan booked today, so hopefully all will look ok.

Just worried.

Please ring your midwife and she will advise you to be monitor, most likely x

Definitely back to the midwife, hope the scan goes ok and you feel better xx

Hope the scan goes ok.

You could be in early labour, I vomited with both mine and know lots of other people did too.

I think I caught a bug off my son. He has been sick too.

I'm seeing my midwife before scan, so will see what she says too.

Thanks

Are you ok OP?

Been thinking about you.

Hi,
Thanks for checking in Flowers

I got induced for the reduced movements the next day after I posted.

All went well and I'm sat here with our beautiful little girl right now. Smile

I had a sickness bug and had reduced movement and phoned he maternity triage. Was told this is perfectly normal as the baby will be quieter while we are ill. She said if there was reduced movement when we are completely healthy that is the time to worry.

Op taking the rehydration salts really helped me after having 2 sachets through out the day in little sips I found myself feeling heaps better.

Phone the triage anyway as there's no negative to keeping them informed.
