Hello, I had a microwave curry for dinner at work, I started to eat it and realised it had gone off as it was so sour! Do I only need to worry if it makes me ill or should I go to the doctors? It only ate a mouthful but feeling so worried now! Thank you x

I think you will be fine with just a mouthful, how out of date was it?

Dani00 · 20/06/2017 13:11

Thank you for your reply. It was still in date, it was from Asda though and that's not the first time I've had gone off stuff from there, unless my fridge isn't working well. I could just taste it was sour straight away X

You'll be fine

And it might actually be that your tastes have changed as a result of pregnanc

Hmm I've had the same meal a few times and I'm 18 weeks tomorrow, I think it was definitley gone off. Thank you for the reply , I worry so much x

It's not good to worry/ be anxious about too much

And it is entirely possible you'll go off things even now, especially as indigestion and heartburn start to kick in. I can't actually eat salads just now- the lettuce and cucumber really kick in the heartburn

I'd eaten a gone off curry from Asda, was sick that night a few times but didn't get food poisoning, to be fair I wasn't pregnant then, I can see why you worry though now I'm pregnant I won't even eat anything past best before lol xx

Okay thank you. Thanks ew1990, I'm hoping I don't get it either, I'm so angry at myself as I've tried to be so good haha xx
