10 weeks but only measuring 4/5

Hi,
Went for an early scan today at the EPU due to some brown bleeding and cramps. I should be 10+2 but am only measuring 4 or 5 weeks, with no heartbeat visible. I'm sure about my dates and have had morning sickness since week 5. I've got a follow up scan next week but I feel like it's all over. Surely I can't be a whole six weeks out? Any similar experiences with happy endings or do I prepare myself for the worst?

If you're sure of dates, you need to prepare yourself for the worst I'm afraid. It's really hard and it's a horrible thing to go through. Plenty of us have been there, there's lots of support over in the body and soul / miscarriage / pregnancy loss forum. Take care 💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
