Hello everyone, you would think that I knew all the answers with this pregnancy malarky... I dont.
I'm 9 weeks pregnant and had some brown discharge today. It progressed to red blood and pretty bad period-like cramps. I'm so upset that I will lose my baby. It's not huge amounts of blood, but similar to day 4 of a normal period. All my other pregnancies never had anything like this (my first I had placenta priva). I have passed 2 small clots, the size of a grape. I'm due to get a scan tomorrow and dreading it! Any similar experiences with any of you? Please shares your stories to help me through this.

With my second pregnancy (I miscarried the first), I got quite abit of bleeding. I was completely freaked out by it due to loosing the first and had to wait a few days before I got a scan. Thankfully I had managed to get a few days off work as there was no way that I could have concentrated at work. The scan happened and they found a heartbeat and I cried so much with relief. She is now 14 months old and completely adorable.

Good luck with your scan and try not to think about it (not that that's easy).

Morning. Kpo58 thank you for commenting. Can I ask, did you pass any clots if that's not too personal? I actually passed something last night which felt more substantial than a blood clot and I'm pretty sure that the end of my pregnancy. I had loads of painful cramp before it and it was gone after something passed. I'm really praying that I am wrong. I have my scan in a few hours. I feel so dispondant, it's really strange Sad

Just back from my scan and unfortunately the baby doesn't have a heartbeat and stopped growing at 6 weeks even though the pregnancy sac has continued growing. I have to go back for a scan next week as 2 scans are needed to confirm a missed miscarriage. Thank you for your kind words xxx

I had the same last year. 45 and 8 weeks but baby had died at 6 weeks. I mc at home alone and it was quite a comfort tbh. Private and a chance to say goodbye.
Sorry for your loss. . Flowers
